Shake It Up
Sometimes the shake-up happens to you, like the company split we experienced at HP last year. And sometimes you’re the one shaking things up, like the direction for talent and learning that we’re taking at our new company, Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Why wait for a shake-up to create a positive one of your own? Reimagine the way you develop talent.
In this session, attendees will learn:
How to use change as an advantage.
Why it makes sense to combine talent with learning and development.
How to stay relevant in an open-source world.
As vice president of talent development and learning solutions for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Tracie Ybarra drives the strategic direction of learning initiatives for the global workforce. Her organization’s goal is to establish Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the employer of choice for maximizing career possibilities through exceptional talent development solutions. Starting with Hewlett-Packard in 1999, Ybarra held various positions before the company separated into Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc. She led major learning and development organizations — executive leadership and organizational development, global functions learning and development, and printing and personal systems sales L&D — plus corporate initiatives focused on HR talent and career development.
