Senior Vice President, Accelerated Development Solutions
Barry Stern is the senior vice president of the accelerated development solutions group. He is responsible for the creation of DDI’s multilevel development solutions across the globe and currently serves as a member of DDI’s operating committee. In his previous role as head of U.S. consulting services operations, he oversaw the delivery of DDI’s full range of services, encompassing both the diagnostic and development components of DDI’s offerings.
Throughout his nearly 30-year career, Stern has worked with numerous leaders — from front-line to C-suite — to install or augment HR initiatives designed to power their businesses. He also has served as an executive coach for mid to senior-level executives.
A classically trained behavioral psychologist, Stern has presented at numerous conferences on topics such as Technology Enabled Leadership, Creating Business-based User Adoption, and Short-cycle Sales Leadership. His article, “Build Your Business Acumen,” appeared in T+D magazine. He is also an occasional blogger for DDI’s Talent Management Intelligence blog.
