Program Director, Talent Strategies
Kim Bolton is a program director in the talent strategies area of global talent management. Focused on leadership development, one of her primary responsibilities is to ensure that the 1,200 people managers within the Unum Group enterprise have the tools, training and resources to lead the company forward.
Bolton joined Unum in 2002. She spent the majority of her career in underwriting where she held various leadership positions, including roles in policies and procedures and training. She joined the human resources department in March of 2014 as director of staffing, where her responsibilities included leading a team in filling 1,200 entry level and professional positions annually. She moved to her current role in September of 2016.
Bolton holds a bachelor’s in business administration; a Fellow, Life Management certification; as well as the FLMI Associate in Customer Service certificate. She is a sustaining member of the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute, and served on the executive board of the Chattanooga American Heart Association and other local charities.
